It seems that even Hollywood's most sought-after actors cannot get enough of shopping online, with the Telegraph reporting that Blake Lively is going to be following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow and creating her own e-commerce site.

Although the project has not yet been given a name, it is expected to offer a mixture of lifestyle and fashion content, along with a dedicated retail platform that allows visitors to buy a variety of related products.

Lively is best known for appearing in hit show, Gossip Girl, as well as movies including Oliver Stone's Savages. And she will no doubt be able to generate significant interest in her latest business endeavour as a result of her profile, even if the long term success of these movie star-backed e-commerce projects is far from assured.

In a recent interview with Vogue, she explained that the site will not just be about high fashion, but will also offer artisanal products and ranges that she has played a part in curating. The site will not even be limited solely to non-food goods, as Lively has expressed a desire to offer consumables to customers online, as cuisine is something for which she has a personal passion.

While the name of the site has not been revealed at this point, Lively and her team are getting ready to launch it on the 23rd of July, so there is not long to wait to find out what is in store.
