i purchased a golf top, which came next day but was damaged i phoned up to tell them and they said they wanted phots emailed i said it had just been delivered and they should come and collect it 3 days later they did. a week later i called to see where my replacement was and was told it was out of stock i said i would have my money back then, to which they said it could take 4 wks i was now spitting feathers and asked to speak to a manager i got the runaround of not in office, off today etc etc. after 6 calls to try and get my money back they say he will ring me!!!! this is 5 weeks on from me first ordering an item. This has got to be one of the worst run companies out there, they are total jokers. DO NOT USE THEM BEWARE !!!!!!!!
I ordered golf kit worth £250 with thesportshq, and clicked on the PayPal button to complete payment. As I did not receive an email confirmation from them, I decided to ring up first thing the next morning to be sure the order went through. I was then told that neither my order nor my payment could be traced and was advised to forward on my PayPal confirmation email, which I did around midday. Long story short is that my order was eventually found after I had to forward on my PayPal confirmation AGAIN around 5pm. They then said they could not deliver the next day even though I had paid for next day delivery. I asked for and got the name of the Customer Services Manager Tim Jones, to whom I sent a polite email explaining that I had paid for a golfing weekend, which was non-refundable and would be grateful if they could ship out my items on time. I never got a reply from Tim Jones nor anyone from the company. As I type, there is still no sign of my delivery days later. They have payment processing problems that they acknowledged; the PayPal button on the website does not actually work properly etc. They are happy to take your money but not deliver the goods. I am ringing up again on Monday and going to insist on speaking to someone higher up. They are a bunch of jokers, do NOT buy from them!
thesportshq.com Bought an electric bike (£500) on Sat 9th may and paid for next day delivery. Bike should have arrived Tue 12th at the latest. Bike dispatched on the 12th which is not a good start. Sports hq refused to refund the extra charge for next day delivery and when i checked my bank statement i realised that they also overcharged me by £18 which they say is correct even though i have an invoice and email which clearly states otherwise. I am now peeved off so decide to reject delivery of the bike when it arrives and will get a refund. Parcell force send bike to wrong distribution hub and eventually attempt a delivery on 19th may, 10 days after initial purchase. Sports hq dont seem to care and effectivley say tuff. I inform them that i am rejecting delivery because of the terrible service to which they say "fine"! The bike arrived back to them on the 20th may and i have yet to receive any correspondence regarding the matter and have still not received a refund, the date being 25th may. Buy from them at your own risk.........they are cowboys. They obviously have no idea of what to do when things go wrong, or just dont care. By the way, T!m the superviser is a TWIT who refused to speak to me after our first conversation due to not being capable of doing anything helpful for me, THANKS!!
