    It seems to be chance that some customers are treated very well and others, like myself, are totally ignored. Ordered a small item three weeks ago, order was acknowledged and then nothing. Emailed the company a week ago asking for the status of the product - nothing. Be warned, you may be lucky and get their good service or unlucky and get their bad.

    I have to say that I am highly suprised at the negative reviews on this site I had nothing but fantastic service from this company. I have been searching for a digital streamer to add to my existing hi-fi system and no other company could come close on service or knowledge. Their showroom is awesome and I will be going back!!! Ignore all negative reviews this place is the nuts!!!

    I must disagree with the negative reviews of Stone Audio. They were terrific, gave great advice over the phone and the communication when there was a slight delay in delivery (due to the manafacturer) was excellent. Fabulous personal service, I would definitely recommend them!

    Ordered the Linn Classik Movie home theatre system and a few other bits n bobs. They were in stock as advertised and arrived promptly. I received immediate contact from one of their staff to let me know payment had been received and when to expect delivery. Turned up when expected. I'm happy with the price I paid and the service I received. Thank you Stoneaudio, I will definitely be using you again.

    Don't believe their website that something is in stock! Their customer services tell me that it "isn't live". I ordered a speaker which was shown as being in stock in the middle of December. My credit card was charged on the day of the order. 3 weeks later, I hadn't received a delivery nor any communication from them. I was told that the speaker was out of stock, and possibly bad weather was delaying new deliveries. At this point the website still shows it in stock. 6 weeks after the original order, I still had no speaker and no communication. The website still shows it in stock and "delivered within 24 hours". I called and they told me that the speaker is on back order and they probably won't have any until March. I'm upset. I don't want to wait for 4 months for something that is supposedly in stock. I don't like the fact that my credit card was charged immediately. I don't like the fact that they didn't reply to emails, and I don't like the fact that they told me they'd call back when they don't. Customer service is non existent. They weren't even the cheapest, but at least the cheaper store I originally ordered from had the decency to call me the day after I ordered to let me know he didn't have the speaker in stock. Only after then, I ordered from Stone, and I regret wasting my time with them.

    Hi I went to SA's flash show room in the hope of buying a new complete new Hifi system. I saw the MD and discussed my requirements, asked for some advice and asked him for a quote and to set up a demo. It took him 3 weeks to email his reply and he omited to quote for speakers. I replied to him the same day asking for the quote for the speakers and he said he would do it straight away. A month later having not received the quote I called him and he said he would do it straight away. Two months later I called in the show room again and reminded him that I was still waiting for the quote and asked if I could come in for a demo. He said that his demo romm would be ready in a weeks time and he would email me to let me know when I could come over. A week later I called and asked if the demo room was ready and he said no! it won't be finished for a couple more weeks. Yesterday I sent him and email saying "As you know I have been trying for some time to persuade you to sell me a hi-fi system but have had no luck. I appreciate that my £5-6k may be small beer compared to some of your customers? so if it's not enough to interest you just let me know and will p**s off any annoy someone else! He replied almost straight away with no apology but saying that I could come over in 3 days time and it would all be ready for me. TOO LATE MR STONE AUDIO! I went to Movement Audio in Parkstone and they were the most friendly helpful people you could ever wish to meet and after 3 demo sessions and absolutely no pressure to buy I spent £6.5k on on a fantastic new system. Need I say anymore?

    I used StoneAudio in Nov 09 despite the reviews I had read here and elsewhere - they were the only shop that had the item I wanted. Item was received in about 3 days without any problems, so maybe they aren't as bad as others have made out!

    WARNING!! AVOID!! I ordered a Beamax electric screen from Stone Audio and was promised delivery in a couple of days. When I called to check on the delivery schedule they said it would be over a week, but could not give a date. So I cancelled the order. Stone Audio nevertheless debited my credit card for over £400!! They never sent anything; they never return my calls!! AVOID!!!

    My wife bought me a pair of (expensive) Sennheiser 650 headphones from Stone Audio, which developed a crack in the headband after a few months. I called them up so that I could arrange to drop the phones into the shop to be repaired under warranty. The person I spoke to informed me that I was unlikely to get them repaired under warranty because "I must have sat on them". When I protested, he said that they had sold hundreds of that model and had never had a problem with the headband. He insinuated that I had damaged the phones and was trying to con him into providing a free repair. In today's economic climate virtually calling your customer a liar takes a particular kind of arrogance, which this person had in spades. Following this conversation, I decided to call Sennheiser up directly. The very nice lady on the phone admitted that they had had a problem with a batch of headbands and asked me to send the headphones back for repair. Which I did. A pat on the back for Sennheiser customer service, which is as good as it gets. Unlike Stone Audio, whose customer service is abysmal. I'll never buy anything from them again.

    I ordered some speaker brackets from Stone Audio and they sent me the wrong type. This wasn't necessarily such a big issue as mistakes do happen but it was the following events that were quite despicable. Not only did I have to wait 2 weeks for the correct pair of speaker brackets but the communication from the company is non-existent. I actually lost count the amount of times I had to call and email them and when I did they just lied to me. I'm still waiting on a refund for postage I had to pay for to get the wrong brackets back to them so they could send the correct ones out. It's now over 4 weeks and I'm still waiting. If you're thinking of using this company I strongly suggest you go elsewhere as their customer service is horrific. I never leave reviews but on this occasion I felt it was absolutely necessary to warn other people of Stone Audio.

    Stone Audio=WARNING, Very bad customer service, lack of communication and commitment to customer. I order my item and I was waiting and waiting and waiting and I am waiting now. On their webside they advertise 3-4 days delivery, yet after they accept payment they send me e-mail that is providing they have goods in stock. How wrong of me to believe, I wrote e-mail to them number of occasions, I had to call them asking when will I receive my item, I had so many promises yet no delivery. This is third week I am waiting, I have talk to them and been told that they will have stock delivery to the warehouse and immediately next day I will receive my item. Any how a day before delivery I receive e-mail asking for my conformation of delivery, so I reply I will be at home waiting. Today I just spend most of my day waiting it is 3.00pm just call them and again I have been told I will receive tomorrow. For the last past tree weeks I have been told I am going to received my item and of course nothing happen, perhaps many of you would think why don't I cancel my order, because at the time I could not predict it will take so long and all they did is to take my money feeding me with their b......t. If I don't receive my item tomorrow then I am definitely cancel my order. I am warning all customers do not shop with stone audio. You will be the one calling them, e-mail... They are not honest, all they after is money and they will feed you with b.....t that is what they did to me and now is tree weeks gone. In fact I am so angry that I see if I can get item somewhere else and cancel my order with stone audio.
