New Shopping App from Currys PC World Arrives

People who love tech and want to carry out safe shopping online on their smartphones can now download the all-new app from popular high street chain Currys PC World, according to Internet Retailing.

The app is not just about making purchases but also about providing after-sales support so that customers can keep their products in full working order for longer.

Another feature of the app is the ability to add items to a wish list, which means that when sales are offered and deals become available, users will receive an alert so that they do not miss out on bagging their favourite products for a bargain price.

The app offers secure shopping thanks to the fact that users can log in using the biometric scanners built into their phones. This will allow for fingerprint-based identification for many users, as well as more advanced face scanning for those with handsets that support it.

Company spokesperson Stuart Ramage said that the new app was intended to be a seamless assistant for a true multichannel shopping experience, providing benefits for online shoppers as well as to those who want to visit physical bricks and mortar stores.

There is even the ability to help people pick an appropriate upgrade for products that they have purchased in the past but are now looking a little long in the tooth.
