    Manchester Utd 1958 Cup Final

Manchester United captured the hearts of the nation by reaching the final in the aftermath of the Munich air crash. A year earlier, Busby's Babes had tried in vain to become the first team of the century to achieve the League and FA Cup double and their return trip to Wembley saw the whole of Britain cheering United on.

But Bolton proved too strong, as did their desire not to be overwhelmed by public opinion in the same manner which dictated their previous cup final appearance in 1953 when Blackpool scored twice in the last few minutes to secure the match 4-2.

To coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the Munich air disaster TOFFS have made a donation of £1500 to the Professional Football Association's charity at the Manchester Children's Hospital.

1979 Cup Winners - Alan Sunderland decides ''the five minute Final'' as Arsenal beat Man Utd 3-2

It is widely regarded as one of the greatest-ever finishes in an FA Cup final. For over 85 minutes the game had been unremarkable, with Arsenal taking a 2–0 half time lead through goals from Brian Talbot and Frank Stapleton. In the 86th minute, however, Gordon McQueen scored following a set-piece, and two minutes later Sammy McIlroy dribbled past two Arsenal players to score a dramatic equaliser. With the game poised for extra time, United's celebrations proved short-lived, as Alan Sunderland scored a last-minute winner.
