Why this lot are on shopsafe is a complete mistery. It is certainly not safe to shop with Nuttalls of Chester. They will take your money and it is unlikely you will receive any goods and then have to fight for a refund. Avoid at all costs. I ordered a ring in November 2010 and never received it and it is now April 2011 and have only just received a refund and this only after going through he courts.

I purchased Greay Pearl earrings as a Christmas gift for December 2010. I ordered during the snow period, but the goods arrived on time and were great. Communication regarding the order progress was excellent. A very good on-line experience.

I would not recommend anyone buy a single item from this company. We ordered a ring on August 5th 2010 which cost in the region of £464 with the guarantee of it being delivered before 20th August which was my birthday. As we were still waiting for the ring to arrive 2 weeks after this date, we cancelled the order and was told a refund would be issued. 3 months later inspite of numerous phone calls and emails to them and false promises on their side, no refund was forthcoming. I'm sure many people would have given up by this time and I'm sure that's what they were hoping. In the end it took a call from a solicitor threatening legal action for them to refund the money. The staff were appallingly rude and the manager, Vernon, was actually verbally abusive. Their idea of customer service is absolutely disgraceful and I'm amazed the company is still going. I would say to anyone looking to buy anything from Nuttalls of Chester, to be very very careful.

I purchased a white gold amethyst & diamond ring from Nuttalls in May this year. I was advised that as it was handmade to order the delivery time would be 10-14 days, I was really pleased when it was delivered within these timescales.The ring is absolutely gorgeous & has been valued at double what I paid, I will be recommending Nuttalls to my friends and family.
