    After numerous phone calls my dining room table arrived over three weeks late. On arrival the delivery team were reluctant to deliver into the dining room which has four steps due to the weight. The self assembly seemed straight forward apart from the sheer weight of the table and legs which took three people to assemble and try and guide together. After several long attempts over three days of assembling and dismantling to retry the support rods which hold the table together do not align with the ready made holes. The table is now left in a dangerous unstable condition. The chrome is also peeling from the cap covers of which some are missing. This item should NEVER be self assembly as it's simply too heavy. I logged complaint through their ticket system and after several failed phone calls and promises to call me back I am still waiting on this being resolved. Extremely poor service, extremely poor quality of product which cost £1100. I have contacted consumer advise and will be taking this further. Unhappy ex customer!!

    DO NOT order from this company. We paid over £600 for furniture, there is a part missing and they are refusing to send it. There is no customer service telephone number, you have to raise a ticket. I have raised THREE tickets and all have been ignored. If you call the sales department it takes at least 15 minutes to get through, they are rude and refuse to help. I left 5 messages last week to be called back and have heard nothing. I have raised a complaint and that has been ignored. Do not order from this company, the customer service is appalling. I have never dealt with such incompetent, ignorant people.

    I am surprised that this company has not been shut down. After sending damaged goods to me there is no one to accept the complaint in person. A SALES person finally answered the phone (they do have a real person to SELL you the damaged goods, only not one to take them back.) Every time I email them they tell me that they are investigating and will get back to me. What is there to investigate? (By the way I am very suspicious about many of the positive reviews on this site)

I have been asking for a refund on a faulty chair for 6 weeks and have had approximately 7-8 emails from their support team who are all useless. They keep buying themselves time and telling me it is being replaced and it never is!! I have reported them to Consumer Direct who have informed Trading Standards. I would advise not to buy ANYTHING from this rubbish website. They are absolutely incompetent and there is a reason they do not have a customer services helpline because they would be inundated with abuse from their customers. The reviews that are praising this company are deffintly fake and they have probably told their useless staff to write them.

Also, I don't want a different umbrella stand that looks completely different otherwise I would have bought it, why are you offering? Email was a do not reply email and gave a number to contact despite the fact a decent company would send refund email notification immediately if they could not supply the goods of the contract. Rang the same day to request a refund. 'Michael' (which I suspect may not even have been his name) told me that they didn't handle refunds and that I had to contact support centre which only operated online. I opened a ticket with support centre on the same day entitled with the subject matter 'Discontinued item' to request a refund on that basis. This should be fairly straight forward. No, I then received an email from 'Joseph' saying the following: 'Thank you for your email. This is back in stock with us today so we can disptach on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Is this acceptable? Please reply'. That's very interesting...It's back in stock despite the fact that you said it was discontinued. It wasn't acceptable because as I had been told it was discontinued, I knew I had to make other arrangements as the item was a birthday present; I had bought elsewhere. I sent another message to their ridiculous ticket system expressing that. I received this message: "We are sorry to hear that you wish to cancel your order . We will now proceed to cancel this order as per our terms and conditions. acancellation charge of £10 will apply. Please allow 3 working days for the transfer. We appologise for all the inconvenience this has caused you". Wait a second...so you're charging me £10 despite the fact that you told me that you cannot fulfill the contract? It was discontinued, it is out of stock....take my £10. All sounds a bit fraudulant!! I rang up Michael from the sales team. I explained all this and he assured me that this must have been a mistake from the refunds team by a new starter. I said that I needed to speak to somebody from the refunds team of which he replied that they only operate online and point blank refused to transfer me through. I sent another email to the refunds team explaining that they obviously did not know the very crucial difference between 'out of stock' and 'discontinued' and that I had relied on their inaccurate and shoddy information. As soon as I had requested a refund, they should not have second guessed me; it should have been processed immediately. The very succint response I received was: "The item is not discontinued, that was an error made on our part. As per our terms and conditions if we were unable to suplly the item then we would issue a full refund" ok... you have admitted that there was an error on your part, I relied on that information and made arrangements accordingly. As far as I was concerned, the company could not supply the item!! It may only be £10 but I do not see why this disgusting, machiavellian company should have an extra £10 for doing nothing whatsoever except waste my time and infuriate me! Furthermore, what makes this company so frustrating to deal with is that their support centre only operates monday-friday and you cannot even send a message in response to theirs during saturday or sunday. Nor does their system record the response that you gave to the weekend. Also, if you request to speak to a manager from the sales team at the weekend, you are advised that there is noone there which is obviously a lie! I am still arguing with their incompetent staff members over the company's dodgy policies as I write as it is now a matter of principle. I STRONGLY URGE anybody considering to buy with this company to avoid them like the plague. I feel I am being punished for deviating away from trusty old Amazon!!

    I ordered a table lamp in April 2012 and when it was delivered, it had been damaged. I asked to return it and they asked me to send them photos of the lamp to determine what the right course of action would be?? I sent the photos and they replied I could return it. A collection date was arranged and I waited the whole day at home and no one came to collect it. Another collection date was arranged and waited the whole day at home and yet again no one turned up. I rang the company and a THIRD collection day was arranged and I was assured this time someone would actually come to collect the item, like it was the biggest favour they had ever done. Finally the item was collected and about a week later, OVER 2 MONTHS AFTER I INFORMED THEM OF THE DAMAGED ITEM, I received an email stating a refund would be arranged but that it could take up to 3 working days. THREE WEEKS later still no refund and replies to my support tickets and phone calls vary from 'It has been paid', 'I will get someone to contact you about the refund' (not once has happened) and 'no, it has not been paid, I do not know what has happened'. This whole process has now lasted for 3 MONTHS, the simple task of getting a table lamp refunded!!! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY EVER, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't purchase anything from Furniture in Fashion, I can't stress this too much - just don't do it. I purchased a bathroom cabinet. After cabinet was delivered we discovered on unpacking it that the glass was broken. We called the courier who informed me that he was unable to do anything and to contact Furniture in Fashion which I did but could only do via their website - impossible to talk to anyone direct. It’s so frustrating because this complaint service of theirs is just a joke, it’s like they almost enjoy antagonising you. I know I won’t get a refund or my money back, they just keep you going in circles and frustrating you more and more. I have made a complaint to Consumer Direct. It’s easy, hopefully more and more people will take the time to do this and eventually Furniture in Fashion will be shut down. It’s not even about the money or the broken cabinet that is still in its box in my hallway. It’s about these people being criminals. Google “Furniture in Fashion reviews” and just see how many complaints there are about them. Wish I had done it.

    I purchased my items online and filled in the form and delivery address. in the drop down menu I choose my country: Sweden. Paid the extra deliver charge. A few days later I received an email saying I would be contacted by the dispatch team as there would be additional cost as it is an over seas shipment. (As that came as a surprise; UK is an island.) When I hadn’t heard from them again in two days I called and was told they couldn't ship my order and they asked me to fill in the online support form to request an refund. Since then I have had no replies in my query. Worried I will never see my money again.

    I am a genuine customer and ordered a "Three Basket Storage Bench" through ebay. I placed my order late Saturday night and was given a delivery date of 8th-9th November, about a week after the order date. I received an email from Furniture in Fashion on the Monday night to say item had been despatched, the following morning received 2nd email with delivery time between 11.01 and 12.01. The item arrived at 11am 3 days after placing the order. It is fairly rustic looking and does have a small dent in it but nothing you would notice and as it is to be used in a porch to store childrens shoes not worth worrying about. The quality is not outstanding but it does have a few good points, removable covers on seat pad and baskets, solid seat base, woven baskets have substantial wire frames and at half, if not a third, the price of many others of the exact same design I can honestly say I have no complaints. Basically you pay for what you get. Admitedly, I have not tried to return damage goods or deal with their customer services but from my recent experience the delivery has been great, the delivery driver was very pleasant! and the product much as I expected. I was quite frightened of the outcome of this purchase as I had not read the reviews on this web site until after I had placed my order. Maybe I have just been very lucky but surely there must be others who have had a more positive experience. I just wanted to share mine to give a bit of balance.

I purchased a dining room set and tv stand that fit the dimensions of my space and had the look I thought I wanted. Although the set looked nice, it turned out to be uncomfortable for me and my son. I contacted the salesman who sold me the set and, to my surprise, he told me to come in and select something else. He was very personable and charming, did not pressure me or make me feel badly about my previous choice. I also met the owner, who was equally as courteous. I took my time walking through the large showroom and found another dining set that were more comfortable, yet still fit my space. I paid a little bit more than the first set, but it was worth it. The price was very reasonable and the dining set had a high-end look to it similar to one I had seen at furniture village. The ining set I purchased would also be more durable than the so-called Italian dining sets at that other store. You can't beat the knowledgeable sales staff, service and large selection available at Furnitureinfashion. I don't know of another store in the Uk that would be willing to provide an exchange after purchase and delivery of merchandise. They truly have something for everyone, and is a place not to be missed. In store they also have a ladieswear and menswear department to my surprise which makes this store very different from others and stands out in a crowd of furniture stores!!!! If you are looking for beautiful contemporary furniture then look no further, all you have to do is visit the store for this onlinr furniture company. To my amaze they have such a huge selection of amazing contemporary furniture. I was astonished to see the extensive selection they had in black glass furniture. I own an appartment in malta and was informed by my friend to visit this store as i was looking for black glass furniture to furnish this appartment. I purchased a black glass dining set with six chairs and also a plasma glass tv stand. The delivery was arranged on time to my freight forwarders and the goods arrived in one peice without any damage. The staff were extremely friendly and i am really impressed with the overall service.

I ordered 2 chairs for my bar on the 11 July specifically for a party I had taking place on the 14th August (you would think that was leaving enough time!!!!!) Firstly, my order was delayed by one week and I was not informed. I had to phone them to find out that in fact there was only one chair in stock so they had to ordered the other one and it would take a week longer. And no, I did not recieve an email to warn me! Secondly, when I had phoned I was told I would recieve a phone call back regarding the delivery time which did not happen. Luckily my neighbour happened to be in to collect it! My item arrived on the 19th July (so far I could handle the poor communication) Thirdly and most importantly, upon opening the box, I removed one chair and then the other and was shocked to find that the second chair was only a seat without the metal stand! The only part of the chair recieved is the leather cushion seat part...there was nothing underneath to hold the seat up! One chair was there in full, wrapped in bubble wrap...the other was half, wrapped in bubble wrap...surely whoever packed it was aware that there was only half a chair being wrapped!!!! It came with no note to explain where the other half was and if I ever got it...how on earth I had to assemble it! After paying over 250 pounds I do expect to recieve 2 full chairs! Both items were wrapped so tightly in bubble wrap you had no option but to cut through it to take the item out which is convinient as they mention the bubble wrap has to be intact when you buy it...nice one! Conviniently they don't "deal with issues" over the phone and make you create a support ticket online. I have written 6 messages and all I got back was "we will send you your item" and "we will update you accordingly". I began to phone everyday and each day was the exact same response. I was told they would contact their ware house and I would recieve a call back "immediately" Today is the 6th of August 2010. My party is in 5 working days. I still have half a chair I am still calling everyday I have recieved 1 call back on the dozens of promised ones to tell me I would have my item the next day (never happened) I have no idea if I will ever see the other half of the chair If I do, I still have no idea how to assemble it I think that speaks for itself - I will never use them again!

Whenever I called to inquire about my order, I was told the person I need to speak to is either on the other line, away from their desk, on a break, or not in. Every single time I call I get the same excuse. Even when I ask to speak to a supervisor. I'm told someone will call me back and no one ever does. When three weeks had gone by since placing my order and I still had not been given an ETA, I cancelled the order. My credit card was never refunded and a MONTH later, the order showed up at my doorstep. Because I was not home at the time to refuse delivery, my neighbor signed for it. I'm now stuck with this piece of furniture that I no longer need because I've long since replaced it and am having to deal with "internet support systems" to try to get them to come back and pick it up and refund my money. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! It has been like pulling teeth with a pair of tweezers!

    I made a purchase from the online store at furnitureinfashion.net, and I'm really happy. The prices were so much better than real stores and I got my order fast! I'm local (Manchester) so they gave me free shipping too! Plus there weren't any pushy sales people to deal with. I needed some help understanding what was with a set, so I used the live help instant messaging and they told me everything I needed to know to feel comfortable. This store has been around for a long time, so I'm not afraid of using their website. I'd recommend them, because it was painless and easy to get a good price for once!

    worst store ever!!!!! these guys are fraudsters... we braught 6 boston chairs priced at £300. with delivery £350 we ordered 6 dining chairs. delivery time was very good. before delivery came we received a call from furniture in fashion advising us if goods are damaged sign as unchecked and advised us if the delivery driving becomes abusive refuse the pallet (what kind of stuff is this. you dont want to be told this by them. what kind of image does this give) 5 chairs had legs that were badly bent. packaging said fragile. the box looked like it had been through a washing machine. so we signed unchecked. once package was opened we immediately contacted them. we were advised to open a support ticket. 3 days later we contacted them. they advised us to send pics which we did. then we had no reply. we contacted them again. and again. untill finally they said they would collect chairs on monday and chairs would have to be in origional packaging. anyway they decide to turn up unexpected on friday to take the chairs so they took it without packaging. 3 weeks have passed and numerous times trying to get them to sort it out. they refused to refund the money that they charged us for the packaging even though they told us that the chairs would be collected yet they turned up unannouced and complained packaging wasnt on the chairs. when we complained they told us that the agent who told us that collection would be on monday got sacked. when we asked to speak to a manager they told us he would be in on monday so when we rang on monday they said he was on holiday. they refused to pay us our money pack for the packaging. 4 weeks has passed and finally got a refund. only £75 less then what we originally paid... i advised all people not to use these. the chairs were very low quality and do not look like the website pics. pay the extra money.. it would be well worth it. i spoke to Omar, Farooq amar at the call centre... all useless

    The main problem with this company is that once they have your money they are no longer interested in whether you are happy or not. I ordered a coffee table which came really quickly but which was not what I wanted. I used their ticket system to try to return it and spent weeks chasing them to collect it. I took time off work but they failed to show up, they never answered emails or returned telephone calls. Eventually they collected the coffee table - 6 weeks after I asked them to do so. Despite having the item they still have not refunded my money, even trying to charge me for collection when their courier did not turn up. I would urge potential buyers to proceed with caution because the level of service they promise is not the level of service they deliver. I shall never use them again!

    Here is my experience of Furniture in Fashion, you be the judge: I wanted to buy a pair of swivelling bathroom mirrors and the best price I could get on the net was from Furniture in Fashion. I ordered them on the 28 10 09 and was sent three emails in succession confirming first the order, then processing and a final one confirming ‘dispatch’ on the 2 11 09. These were all simple emails with no disclaimers, or special conditions attached. I still hadn’t received my order a week later but there had been a postal strike so I wasn’t too worried. By the following week the items still had not arrived so I phoned their customer service department and was told that I’d be issued a replacement, I made an arrangement with them to be in on the Friday to receive it. On Wednesday I got a delivery which I assumed must have been the originals. I opened them up and found one of the mirrors was smashed, I immediately got in touch with their customer services and was told that a replacement would be sent straight away but that I had to raise a support ticket through their system. I also reminded them that they were sending a replacement on Friday and not to forget to cancel that one (I was trying to be helpful). I raised the support ticket on 18 11 09 and detailed the problem to them. On the 19 11 09 I received an email with some questions worded as follows: Has the item been assembled? Do you have all the packaging in tact, including the bubble wrap? Has the item been replaced back in the box, ready for collection? I also received a quite a stringent set of rules governing returns including this one: ‘Once you have opened your packaging and you discover faulty/damaged goods or missing parts you must notify us within 3 Working Days by submitting a support ticket, unless this is done within this specified time we do not hold responsibility for damages or loss of contents in your delivery.’ I found it strange that the bubble wrap had to be back around the box since they’d wrapped it so tightly I’d had to cut it away. They also had a rule about putting ‘unchecked’ next to the signature upon receipt of the goods or they’d take no responsibility for missing or damaged items. (I presumed this only applied to returns since I only got the list of conditions after I’d asked for a replacement). By 23 11 09 I hadn’t heard back from them so I sent a reminder via the support system asking them to send a replacement and to pick up the broken item. I sent another reminder the next day, still no reply. The next day I’d still had no reply and this was from a company who had their own three day rule about notification of damaged items. I said I would give them until the 30 11 09 and then I would have to take a different course of action (I’d been waiting a month already). By the 30 11 09 they still hadn’t replied so I sent a message saying not to send a replacement, I’d replace the smashed glass myself and let as many consumer sites know about my experience as possible. The next day I received two emails and an answerphone message from the company urging me to get in touch so we could sort out the problem (the phrase shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, came to mind).

They eventually gave me the number of their driver and I had to sort delivery out myself. Things got even worse when I had to return an item. Followed all their procedures listed online. After about 8 emails never heard anything from them, except one email to say they'd find out what was happening. They didn't. Staggered by the lack of communication and help. Eventually had to provide details and evidence to my credit card company who refunded me in full.

    No Star Rating I completely agree with Domish Saad above. I have been having a nightmare returning damaged goods. Roshni and Faheem have often told me that they will arrange collection of the goods but it never happens. They blame the couriers and do not bother replying to my messages that I leave on their specially created complaints system. I have now put it in the hands of my credit card company to sort out. You have been warned!

    We ordered a computer desk; told 2 week delivery then nothing delivered. Then told delivery delayed by 4 weeks. Heard nothing at all again. Had to ring them numerous times and kept getting told it was ready to be delivered but again heard nothing. They had taken the money. In the end we had to tell them to refund us. It was the mis-information that was so annoying. wouldn't trust to use them again mainly because customer service not very good.

I visited other websites and they seem to have the same item however they did not have it in stock. So i purchased from furnitureinfashion, delivery arrived within 3 working days. Most of their items are in stock in comparison to other websites. So i did not have to wait for weeks and weeks which can be very frustrating. I will certainly recommend everyone about this company because i shop here frequently. thankyou

    I bought some dining room furniture for my home from furnitureinfashion. I thoroughly searched the web and found this website to be the most competetive in price and good quality. I am extremely over the moon with my VO1 Black glass dining set with matching Coffee table and Side Table. I placed my order thinking it may take upto 4 weeks for delivery, but to my suprise I received a call from Customer services that all my goods were in stock and they were ready to deliver to me. However as i was moving I gave them a week later date to deliver all my goods to my new home. I was very pleased with the overall customer service I received from this company. Furthermore the furniture I ordered has really put a spark to my new home. I would highly reccomend this to everyone and also my close friends have shopped with them too. An inspiring website.

I ordered yesterday morning and am now taking a break from unpacking my dining chairs, as I'm writing this review (Something I dont bother with normally) I cant help but smile at my new dining table which arrived in perfect condition, Spoke yesterday with a fabulous customer service advisor (he must have infinite patience because I sure can be fussy), Didnt feel rushed or pushed, I would defo Recommend to anyone looking to revamp their home, I know where my next pay check is getting spent!     I bought a EH708 Tv stand from furnitureinfashion. I received next day delivery which i was very pleased with. It was so well packaged it took me nearly 10 minutes opening the packaging. It was just as described. Me and my wife are really pleased with our purchase from furnitureinfashion. We certainly will be shopping with them again and also reccomend them to our friends and family. Overall the fast and efficient service they provided us really impressed us. Also they have a great range of other furniture products.

I bought two Zenith Bar stools, which were cheaper than Simply Bar stools. I saved in total £20.00. I was happy frm start to finish in placing my order. Not only that but they have an excellent customer service department. Will be shopping again and telling all my friends and family.

It appears our order was lost, so having paid for the items it seemed we were not going to receive our furniture until we rang up to complain. They even sent me an E-Mail confirming that the order was dispatched to me. When after 2 weeks of waiting and it didn't arrive I knew that I had a problem. We rang the company and even then communication was difficult and promised returned calls did not materialise. Only when we asked for our money to be returned did we have any action. When the goods finally arrived it was not what we ordered, indeed it was a product that did not seem to even feature on the website. I had such a bad experience of this company, that when I realised the product was different to my order I did not even consider returning it as i did not believe I would have any success in returning the product or of receiving my money back. I would never use this company again, it was my worst experience of Internet purchasing. I would not purchase goods from this company again
