I ordered jets they sent burners, I sent them back with return No. and was told the postage would be refunded. I emailed proof of posting and ever since then they have buggered me about wasting my phone time on a special rate number from France to England. I shall be complaining to Rangemaster who said all their spares now go through these bludgers.

Whilst appearing friendly and helpful, more and more information keeps being asked. We are on our 6th request for information, this time to cover for their failure to realise we paid the return postage. They are trying to charge me £2.99 for return postage.

I could however place a completely new order. WHAT THIS MEANS IS THAT THIS COMPANY IS HOLDING ON TO YOUR MONEY IN THE INTERIM FOR A FAILURE ON THIER PART. This is unethical. Sadly this issue stains the whole business model as unethical. One star for the very understanding lady handling my return, A rose surrounded by thorns.

Nothing stated on the item page online states that this is for ONE PAD ONLY So at a combined cost of £38 For a pair for my 2 ears I decided to return the item IMAGINE MY SURPRISE WHEN IT COSTS £5.48 to restock the item ! I feel they exhibit the worst practices of an online company and recommend you never use this company

I had a problem when I paid for Next-Day-Delivery last November, and the item finally turned up a day late. When I called 4ourhouse to track the item the person I spoke to was very rude, and DHL were just as bad (search for DHL reviews - they are as bad as 4ourhouse). I wrote a letter of complaint to 4ourhouse on 21 November 2010, which was received by them at 09.39 on 24 November 2010, but I received neither an acknowledgement nor reply. I wrote again on 18 December 2010, which was received by them at 10.45 on 21 December 2010, chasing up the first letter. To date I have not had a reply from either letter. IS THIS THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS - DO THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS?? The only sign of life has been a partial refund of the next-day-delivery charge. I suppose that I should be thankful for that. Reading through other reviews I find that I am far from alone with delivery problems, in particular next day. My experience with the rudeness of 4ourhouse staff is also prevalent. Apart from the rudeness of the staff their main problem seems to be using DHL for next day delivery. 4ourhouse insist that DHL 24@Home is a next day delivery service. DHL insist that they only deliver the next day if they can . . . NOT what we pay for!! I would like to give them less than two stars, but they do provide a good service with parts, which I suppose is why they can afford to treat their customers like a bit of dog muck on their shoes. In future I will only use this company as a very last resort.
