  I actually created an account just to write a review on these phones.
  
  I just can't understand why so many say these or other ph…Read moreones from Shure lack bass. They do not. It's just that we are used to other manufacturers who make their phones produce extended bass, which in my view distorts the sound.
  
  With these phones, you get the bass that recording provides. I find them to be very very well balanced and when you get used to not having the manufactured bass boost, you appreciate them so much more.
  
  I'm very happy with these headphones and would recommend them to anyone who appreciates good sound qaulity.
  
  O and they are great for public places also...cuts out enough noise and you can still enjoy your music on the move. I don't even hear the annoying announcements on the train anymore....
