Nintendo Wii

Alright. You can have one giggle at the name. Done? Excellent, because once you look past the name, you start to realise that Nintendo have done it again. Touchscreen was nothing new but Nintendo's DS made it seem brilliantly natural. Motion sensitive controllers aren't a new idea either - but they've never been done quite like this. Your movement is integral to the game - you are the controller. And if you get bored with Wii gaming (how could you?), Wii works with your Gamecube titles and supports "Virtual Console" downloading of classics from the 8, 16 and 64 bit eras. Wii's codename was "Revolution" - somehow, it seems appropriate.
